Front height = (opening height − top reveal − bottom reveal − all inter-front gaps) ÷ front count. Front width = opening width − two side reveals. Edge and centre marks keep full precision until display.

All marks run downward from the opening's top edge. Do not round individual front heights before laying out the complete bank.

  • Opening: 600 mm wide × 760 mm high; four equal inset fronts.
  • 2 mm outer reveals and 3 mm gaps between fronts.

Avoid cumulative rounding errors

The calculator subtracts every reveal and gap once, divides the remaining height equally and builds all marking positions from the same full-precision result. That stops a small rounded difference growing down the drawer bank.

Cut size is not drawer-box size. Confirm actual opening squareness, paint or edging build-up, runner instructions, adjustment range and the chosen fitting spacers before machining fronts.
